The CCS Exam Prep course is designed specifically to help you take and pass the CCS Exam. Learn inpatient coding as we cover the Official Coding Rules and Guidelines and Coding Clinic. Learn selection of principal diagnosis, secondary diagnoses, DRGs and more. Practice what you have learned with challenging coding exercises in this on-line program. In addition, you will receive 2 mock CCS exams with 60 multiple choice questions and 14 case examples. All domains on the exam are covered including ethics, compliance, queries, DRGs and much more. There are 12 classes available 24/7 on demand. These are not modules. The program includes tape replays of live classes giving you the feel of a classroom environment. Access is good for six months from date of purchase. In addition, you will earn 16 AHIMA CEUs for those who do CM/PCS training alone or in the combo package.

Books are not included. You will need the following books: 2024 ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS & CPT as this program will prepare you for 2024 exam. Please note: The exam changes to 2024 books and guidelines on May 1, 2024.
Please check AHIMA website for list of allowable codebooks as only books from this list are allowed to test for the CCS exam. In addition, you will need the Nelly Leon-Chisen ICD-10-CM/PCS Coding Handbook with answers as a workbook for the CCS Exam Prep Course. If you are doing the combo package with ICD-10-CM/PCS training, the workbooks will be provided for CM/PCS training and 16 AHIMA CEUs are included. A laptop or stand-alone computer is required. Tablets are allowed.
It is recommended students have completed ICD-10-PCS training. If you have not had this training, you can get PCS training in the combo package that includes both CCS Exam Prep and CM/PCS Training for $499.
