ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Training - This program is specifically designed for coding professionals, CDI specialists, billers, and others in need of improving their knowledge and skill in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding. This program is offered as tape replays of my previous live classes. It is recommended you watch 2 classes per week. There are 8 classes (4 for CM & 4 for PCS). Participants will learn the ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Official Coding Guidelines. We will cover ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS format and structure as well as chapter by chapter review where students will code case examples, applying their newfound knowledge and skills. The program will include lectures and slideshow presentations. Students can participate by asking questions via phone or email. It's like having a personal tutor. This program has the feel of a classroom environment and not a training module. The cost of the program is only $300. Coding books must be purchased separately. Workbooks for both CM/PCS training will be provided.

FAQs

I don't have coding skills. Can I take this class?

These classes are designed for those who are currently involved in hospital coding, whether as a coder, biller, data analyst, CDI specialist, or other coding-related functions. Please note: AHIMA has changed eligibility requirements and they are no longer “requirements”. Instead, they are recommendations opening the door for many who would not meet eligibility now able to take the exam.  Therefore, minimum requirement for this course would be completed classes in medical terminology, human anatomy and pathophysiology.  CPT education is preferred.

I am an outpatient coder with 2 years of coding experience. However, I have no inpatient experience. Will the CCS Exam Prep help me?

Yes. This program has helped hundreds just like you take and pass the exam. The combo package with CCS Exam Prep and PCS Training would be best to prepare you.

I have a CPC and one year of experience and no inpatient experience. Can this program help me?

Yes! We have helped hundreds just like you learn inpatient coding and earn a CCS. You can too!  In addition, AHIMA has changed eligibility requirements.  What used to be required are now recommendations.  That has opened the door for many who did not meet eligibility to now be able to test.  That said, taking and passing are two different things.  One must be prepared to pass.  This program does just that.

Are CEUs available?

Yes! 16 AHIMA approved CEUs are available for CM/PCS training alone or in the combo package.

Will the program work on a phone or tablet?

Yes.  However, It is recommended you use a laptop or standalone computer.
